View Monitoring Data

<p>This article describes how to view monitoring data of an RDS PostgreSQL instance.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Overview</strong></span></p> <p>You can view monitoring items of an RDS PostgreSQL instance in a visualized way with Argus service to learn about the operating status of RDS PostgreSQL service in real time. Currently, you can go to the Argus Console via RDS Console, or log in to the Argus Console to view monitoring data.</p> <p>A general instance and read-only instance support viewing monitoring data.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Prerequisites</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>You have successfully created an instance. For more information, see Create a General Instance or Create a Read-Only Instance.</li> <li>You have successfully bound an alarm template. For more information, see Set Alarming.</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Go to Argus via RDS Console</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>Log in to the RDS Console.</li> <li>In the left navigation pane, click <strong>RDS-PostgreSQL</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for RDS-PostgreSQL</strong> page.</li> <li>Select the target region.</li> <li>In the <strong>Operation</strong> column of the target instance, click <strong> </strong>&nbsp;&gt; <strong>Monitoring Details</strong> to jump to the <strong>Monitor Detail</strong> page of Argus Console.</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Log in to Argus Console</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>Log in to the Argus Console.</li> <li>In the left navigation pane, click <strong>Service Monitoring</strong> &gt; <strong>RDS-PostgreSQL</strong>.</li> <li>In the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target instance, click <strong>Monitor Detail</strong> to enter the <strong>Monitor Detail </strong>page.</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>View Monitoring Data</strong></span></p> <p>You can view monitoring data on the <strong>Monitor Detail</strong> page.</p> <p>&bull;&nbsp; Click <strong>Monitor Chart</strong> tab to view data chart of monitoring items.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200707105752-1705237f9b73.png" style="height:306px; width:830px" /></p> <p>&bull;&nbsp; Click <strong>Templates</strong> tab to view the alarm template bound to the instance.</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200707105810-1a61c4589ece.png" style="height:29px; margin:0px; width:65px" />:</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &bull;&nbsp; You can click <strong>Unbind</strong> in the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target alarm template to unbind the alarm template and instance.</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; &bull;&nbsp; You can also click <strong>Bind Template</strong> to set the bind template of the instance.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200707105839-1c83f7c698eb.png" style="height:137px; width:679px" /></p> <p>&bull;&nbsp; &nbsp;Click <strong>Metric</strong> tab to view monitoring index provided by Argus service.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200707105856-124c4baa937f.png" style="height:191px; width:830px" /></p> <p>&bull;&nbsp; In the <strong>Operations</strong> column of the target monitoring item, click <strong>View Chart</strong> to view details of the monitoring item.</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp;&nbsp;<img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200707105810-1a61c4589ece.png" style="height:29px; margin:0px; width:65px" />:</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; 1.&nbsp; You can view monitoring data in the following time period: Last hour, today, yesterday, recent three days, recent seven days, recent 14 days, or custom time period.</p> <p>&nbsp; &nbsp; 2.&nbsp; You can view the following monitoring items in the set time period: Average, Max Value, or Min Value.</p>
