Connection in Windows Operating System

<p>This article describes how to install a PostgreSQL client on the ECS in Windows operating system and access an RDS PostgreSQL instance via PostgreSQL client.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Prerequisites</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>You have successfully created an RDS PostgreSQL instance. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/RDS/Getting_Started.RDS_PostgreSQL.Create_RDS_PostgreSQL" target="_blank">Create an RDSPostgreSQL Instance</a>.</li> <li>You have successfully created an ECS and the instance is in the status of running. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/RDS/Getting_Started.RDS_PostgreSQL.Create_ECS" target="_blank">Create an ECS</a>. Select a windows image when you create the ECS.</li> <li>You have successfully opened a whitelist. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/RDS/Getting_Started.RDS_PostgreSQL.Create_Whitelist" target="_blank">Open a Whitelist</a>.</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Procedures</strong></span></p> <p>1.&nbsp;Log in to a Windows&nbsp;ECS instance. For more information, see <a href="http://www.pgadmin.org/download/" target="_blank">pgAdmin Official Website</a>. This section takes an example of Windows operating system and pg Admin 4 client.
