Release a Remote Disaster Recovery Instance

<p>In order to avoid wasting resources, you can release a remote disaster recovery instance when you do not use it any more.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Prerequisites</strong></span></p> <p>You have successfully created a remote disaster recovery instance. For more information, see <a href="http://pinganyun.com/ssr/help/database/RDS/User_Guide_RDS_PostgreSQL.Instance_Management.Create_Instance.Create_Slave_Instance" target="_blank">Create a Remote Disaster Recovery Instance</a>.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Usage Guidelines</strong></span></p> <p>If you release a remote disaster recovery instance, you will delete all data of the instance at the same time. Perform this task with caution.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Procedures</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>Log in to the <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/rds/overview" target="_blank">RDS Console</a>.</li> <li>In the left navigation pane, click <strong>RDS-PostgreSQL</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for RDS-PostgreSQL</strong> page.</li> <li>Select the target region.</li> <li>In the <strong>Operations </strong>column of the target remote disaster recovery instance, click <strong>Release</strong> to enter the <strong>Verification Code</strong> page.</li> <li>The system will send a verification code to the mobile phone that is bound to the account. Fill in the verification code and click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</li> <li>The <strong>Status</strong> of the target remote disaster recovery instance is <strong>Deleting</strong>.</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Result</strong></span></p> <p>After the remote disaster recovery instance is successfully released, it cannot be viewed in the target region.</p>
