<p>This article describes how to realize manual renewal after an RDS PostgreSQL instance is created but the automatic renewal is not enabled.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Overview</strong></span></p> <p>If the RDS PostgreSQL instance you purchased is of subscription (monthly) and its <strong>automatic renewal</strong> is not enabled, you can manually renew the RDS PostgreSQL instance.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Usage Guidelines</strong></span></p> <ol> <li>Make sure the account balance is sufficient.</li> <li>When you create an instance, the billing method is subscription (monthly).</li> <li>Only manual renewal for a general instance and read-only instance is provided. Renewal policy of a DR instance is the same as that of a general instance.</li> </ol> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Procedures</strong></span></p> <p>1.&nbsp; Log in to the <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/rds/overview" target="_blank">RDS Console</a>.</p> <p>2.&nbsp; In the left navigation pane, click <strong>RDS-PostgreSQL</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for RDS-PostgreSQL</strong> page.</p> <p>3.&nbsp; Select the target region and click <img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200207111133-1e799dc59501.png" style="height:25px; margin:0px; width:14px" />&nbsp;&gt; <strong>Renew</strong> in the <strong>operation</strong> column of the target instance to enter the <strong>Renew</strong> page.</p> <p>4.&nbsp; Drag the slider of <strong>purchasing period</strong> to select renewal period and click <strong>Confirm</strong>.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200207111141-15f66fdd9a40.png" style="height:22px; margin:0px; width:90px" />: Duration is from one month to 36 months. One month is the default value.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20200207111201-188139289f8c.png" style="height:238px; width:588px" /></p> <p>5.&nbsp; On the <strong>Order Confirmation </strong>page, click <strong>Confirm Payment</strong> after confirming renewal information is right.</p> <p><span style="font-size:18px"><strong>Result</strong></span></p> <p><strong>Method 1:</strong></p> <ol> <li>On <strong>Payment Result</strong> page, click <strong>View Order </strong>to enter the <strong>Product Order</strong> page.</li> <li>The <strong>Status</strong> of target order is <strong>All finished</strong>.</li> </ol> <p><strong>Method 2:</strong></p> <p>In the left navigation pane, click <strong>RDS-PostgreSQL</strong>. On the <strong>DBPaaS for RDS-PostgreSQL</strong> page, select the target region and click <strong>Manage</strong> in the <strong>operation</strong> column of the target cluster instance.
