This article describes how to modify permissions for an account to access database.
Overview
After creating an account and database, you need to assign the read-only or read/write permission of accessing a designated database to an account.
Prerequisites
Procedures
1. Log in to the RDS Console.
2. In the left navigation pane, click RDS-MySQL to enter the DBPaaS for RDS-MySQL page.
3. Select the target region.
4. Click Manage in the Operations column of the target instance and select Account tab.
5. In the Operations column of the target account, click Modify Permissions.
6. Select the target database in the list of Unauthorized Database and click .
7. Select the target database in the list of Authorized Database, and click Read and write or Read-only to assign the permission of accessing database to the account.
8. Click Save.
Result
1. On the Account page, Database Belonging of the target account is the target database. Permission of the target database is Processing.
2. After successfully modifying the permission, you can see that Database Belonging of the target account is the target database. Permission of the target database is target permission.
