<p>To ensure the normal operation of the ECS instances you purchase, read the following instructions before usage:</p> <ul> <li>To ensure normal usage of instances, do not uninstall any pre-installed driver of relevant hardware.</li> <li>Do not modify the network IP or MAC address at will.</li> <li>Ping An Cloud does not provide 32-bit operating system because its 4-GB memory-addressing capability is limited. If the custom image you upload is a 32-bit image, identify the memory capacity. The maximum number of CPU cores supported by Windows 32-bit operating system is 4C.</li> <li>Purchase ECS instance of appropriate specifications when building large-scale applications. Otherwise, the application might not be started due to lack of resources.</li> <li>We recommend that you set relevant applications to run at startup to ensure continuous service and avoid unavailable service due to downtime migration. If application service is connected to a database, you need to set an automatic reconnection mechanism in the application.</li> <li>If system kernel needs to be upgraded, use Ping An hotfix. We recommend that you do not upgrade the version of an ECS kernel or operating system, because self-upgrade by users may lead to the failure of Linux instance start-up.</li> <li>Do not rename, delete, or disable the administrator account of the Windows otherwise it will affect the usage of the server.</li> <li>Be cautious to expand capacity, delete disk, revise registry, or update system in the operating system. Otherwise it would cause data damage due to false operation.</li> <li>Be cautious to use the administrator account such as root to do operations of rm-rf, fdisk, and mkfs. Otherwise it can cause data damage due to false operation.</li> </ul>
