The IP and MAC addresses of Ping An Cloud Server are fixed. The bottom layer binds the IP and MAC addresses. Please do not change the host MAC address at will. After the change, the server network will be abnormal.</p> <p><strong>4.</strong><strong>Can the ECS instance change the IP address?</strong></p> <p>Can the ECS Instance change the IP address? ECS instance runs on a virtualization platform. If you deploy virtualization programs on the server, it will cause unpredictable problems on the server. Do not deploy virtualization programs inside the server.</p> <p><strong>6.</strong><strong>Can I delete system files in an ECS Instance?</strong></p> <p>Please do not delete files in the system disk or directory of the ECS Instance at will. The basic management software of the ECS Instance is installed under Linux/opt/cloud and Windows C:\Windows\cloud. If it is deleted, the basic service of the ECS Instance will be unavailable, or other unpredictable service exceptions will occur.</p> <p><strong>7.</strong><strong>Can ECS reinstall the system?</strong></p> <p>Yes, after the system is reinstalled, it will return to the initial state of startup. Please refer to Reinstall the System.</p> <p><strong>8.&nbsp; </strong><strong>Is it possible to customize the directory permissions under / partition under Linux system?</strong></p> <p>No, please do not change the permissions of the directories under the / partition at will, especially the permissions of directories such as / etc / sbin / bin / boot / dev / usr / lib. If the permissions are incorrectly changed, an exception will occur.</p>
