Add a host to a security group

<p>This article describes how to add a host to a security group.</p> <p><strong>Restriction</strong></p> <p>1.&nbsp;&nbsp; A BMS instance is bound to a maximum of three security groups.</p> <p>2.&nbsp;&nbsp; A security group can be bound to several security group rules.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Prerequisites</strong></p> <p>1. The BMS instance added to the security group and the security group need to be in the same VPC and network. For more information, see Create VPC and Create BMS Network Domain.</p> <p>2. You have successfully created a security group. For more information, see Create Security Group.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Procedure</strong></p> <p>1.Log in to the <a href="#https://yun.pingan.com/login/?i=%2Fconsole%2Fbms%2Foverview" target="_blank">BMS console</a>.</p> <p>2.Click<strong> Security Group</strong> in the left-side navigation pane.</p> <p>3. On the <strong>Security Group</strong> page, click the name of the target security group.</p> <p>4. On the<strong> Security Group Details</strong> page, select <strong>Instances </strong>and click <strong>Add Host </strong>on the upper right corner.</p> <p>5. In the pop-up dialog box for <strong>Add Host</strong>, select the target host.</p> <p>6. Click <strong>OK</strong> to complete the addition.</p> <p><strong>Note</strong>: The list of hosts displayed is the BMS instances which are in the same VPC and network with the selected security group.</p>
