The Board Jumper is a Windows System

<p>If the jump server you bought uses Windows operating system, you can log in to BMS by the following means. Here MobaXterm and PuTTY are taken as examples.</p> <p><strong>Example 1: Log in to BMS with MobaXterm</strong></p> <p><strong>Procedure</strong></p> <p>1. log in to ECS, for which you can refer to Windows Quick Start.</p> <p>2. Run <strong>MobaXterm</strong> on ECS.</p> <p>3. Click<strong> Session</strong> on the upper left corner, and the page of <strong>Session setting </strong>will pop up.</p> <p>4. Click<strong> SSH</strong> on the upper left corner, and enter IP (Remote host) of ECS in <strong>Basic SSH settings </strong>that pop up. Select Specify username and enter username in the dialogue box.</p> <p>5. Click <strong>OK</strong>.</p> <p>6. Enter the command for logging on to ECS in the dialogue box that pops up: username@hose (username@public IP). Then enter the password of your ECS account in accordance with instructions.</p> <p><strong>Note:</strong></p> <ul> <li>The initial username of Windows operating system is set as administrator by default. You can check the username in the basic information region on the ECS <strong>Instance Details</strong> page.</li> <li>The public IP of East China 1 can be checked behind <strong>Public IP</strong> in the <strong>Basic Information</strong> region on the<strong> Instance Details</strong> page. The public IP of other regions can be checked by clicking <strong>VPC</strong>&gt;<strong>NAT Gateway</strong>&gt;<strong> Bandwidth Packet Management.</strong></li> </ul> <p>7. After logging in successfully, log in to BMS remotely. Enter: ssh username@host, and enter password based on instructions.</p> <p>8. If the time of last login pops up, it indicates you have successfully log in to BMS. Then you can proceed with other operations.</p> <p><strong>Note:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Username is the name of a user. Host is the IP of the server.</li> <li>When the password is being entered, the mouse cursor does not jump. When you finish entering the password, press <strong>Enter</strong>.</li> <li>Currently, Ping An Cloud doesn&rsquo;t provide Windows BMS.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Example 2: log in to BMS with PuTTY</strong></p> <p><strong>Procedure</strong></p> <p>1. log in to ECS. For how to log in, please refer to Windows Quick Start.</p> <p>2. Run <strong>PuTTY </strong>on ECS.</p> <p>3. Configure <strong>Session.</strong></p> <ul> <li>Host Name (or IP address): Enter the public IP of BMS instance.</li> <li>Connection type: SSH is selected by default.</li> <li>Saved Sessions (optional): You may enter a name that is identifiable. Click <strong>Save</strong>, so that next time you can enter the login page directly without entering information again.</li> </ul> <p>4.&nbsp;&nbsp; lick <strong>Open</strong>.</p> <p>5. Enter the username root and the password you set when you purchased BMS instance to log in to BMS.</p> <p><strong>Note:</strong> If you haven&rsquo;t set a custom password, you can view the initial password in BMS Instance Details.</p>
