<p>This article describes how to stop and start an instance.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Overview</span></strong></p> <p>&bull;&nbsp;Instances that are paid by hour will trigger deductions when it is stopped to ensure the accuracy of the bill. There will be no charge after the instance is stopped.</p> <p>&bull;&nbsp;The deductions for pay-as-you-go instances are made every day, and triggered when the instance stops (the deducted fee is the cost from the end of the last deduction to the stop time.) There will be no charge after the instance is stopped.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Prerequisites</span></strong></p> <p>You have successfully created an ELB instance.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Limitations</span></strong></p> <p>&bull;&nbsp;Only external and internal ELB instances on <strong>Instance Management</strong> page can perform stop and start operations.
