<p class="shortdesc"></p> <p class="p">RAM allows to create and manage multiple sub-accounts under a master account and assign different access policy to individual sub-account or group so as to ensure that different users have different access to and management permission of cloud resource. </p> <div class="note note note_note"><span class="note__title">Note:</span> A master account can create 100 sub accounts at most, otherwise they cannot be created. </div> <p class="p">If a new user or application needs to access your cloud resource, you need to create a RAM sub-account and authorize to it. General procedures are shown as follows:</p> <ol class="ol" id="usermgt__ol_ywm_b1d_flb"> <li class="li">Logs in to the RAM Console with the master account (or a RAM sub account with RAM operation permission).</li> <li class="li">Create a RAM sub-account and authorize to it. </li> <li class="li">Acquire user identification and access cloud resource with the RAM sub-account.</li> </ol> <p class="p">After the administrator creates a sub-account for users by using the master account, users will immediately acquire the identification of the sub account. Identification includes User Name/Password and Access Key:</p> <ul class="ul" id="usermgt__ul_zwm_b1d_flb"> <li class="li">If users access cloud resource via cloud platform gateway, they need to log in with User Name/Password;</li> <li class="li">If users access cloud resource via API request, they need to log in with Access Key. </li> </ul> <div class="note note note_note"><span class="note__title">Note:</span> A sub-account with RAM operation permission is able to create a sub-account for other users. </div>
