Tag an Instance

<p>You can easily manage Redis instances through instance tags.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Overview</span></strong></p> <p>The system automatically generates a name for an instance when creating the instance. You cannot modify instance names. However, you can identify instances through their tags.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Procedures</span></strong></p> <ol> <li>Log in to the <a href="http://pinganyun.com/console/redis/overview" target="_blank">Redis Console</a>.</li> <li>In the left navigation pane, click<strong> Redis Cluster</strong> to enter the <strong>DBPaaS for Redis</strong> page.</li> <li>Select the target region.</li> <li>Click &nbsp;next to the target instance.</li> <li>In the dialog box that opens, enter a tag for the instance, and then click <strong>Save.</strong></li> </ol> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20201507144516-18b128bb9903.png" style="height:29px; margin:0px; width:65px" />:</p> <ul> <li>The length of a tag is 1 to 16 characters.</li> <li>A tag supports uppercase letters, lowercase letters, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and digits.</li> <li>The tag must start with a letter.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Result</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>An <strong>Operation succeeded</strong> message is displayed at the bottom of the page.</li> <li>On the<strong> DBPaaS for Redis </strong>page, the<strong> </strong>cluster tag of the target instance has been changed.</li> </ul> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Follow-up</span></strong></p> <p>On the <strong>DBPaaS for Redis </strong>page, you can quickly locate the target instance by instance tag.</p> <p><img src="https://obs-cn-shanghai.yun.pingan.com/pcp-portal/20201507144615-1cd97e83971e.png" style="height:167px; width:507px" />&nbsp;</p>
