Create an ECS instance

<p>For security reasons, Ping An Cloud currently does not support direct access to Redis instances from the public network. You can connect to a Redis instance from a Ping An Cloud ECS instance. This article describes how to create an ECS instance.</p> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Usage Guidelines</span></strong></p> <ol> <li>You must create the ECS instance in the same region as the Redis instance.</li> <li>If the ECS instance and the Redis instance are in different availability zones, the access performance of the Redis instance might degrade due to geographical limitations. We recommend that you create the ECS instance in the same availability zone as the Redis instance.</li> </ol> <p><strong><span style="font-size:18px">Procedures</span></strong></p> <ol> <li>Log in to the <a href="http://yun.pingan.com.cn/console/ecs/overview" target="_blank">ECS Console</a>.</li> <li>In the left navigation pane, click <strong>Instance</strong> to enter the <strong>Instance Management</strong> page.</li> <li>Select the region where the Redis instance resides and create an ECS instance.
