This article describes how to create a VPC.
Procedure
1. Log in to the VPC Console.
2. Click VPC in the left navigation tree to enter the VPC page.
3. Click Create in the upper-right corner of the page to enter the Create VPC page.
4. Create a VPC as described in the following table:

VPC Description |
Configure the name of the private network. |
Region |
Select the region for the VPC. We recommend that you create a VPC that is the closest to your client. |
VPC Type |
Select the type of the VPC. Currently, only the financial type is available. |
5. Click Create to display the Create Result page as shown below, and the status of the VPC is Available.
6. Click Confirm. The new VPC is displayed on the VPC page.
7. Click VPC name on the VPC page, and then click the Network tab on the Instance Information that opens.
8. Click Create in the upper-right corner of the Network tab.
9. Create a network domain as described in the following table:

Configure the name of the network domain. |
Objective Product |
Select ECS or BMS to be the objective product of the network. |
Partition |
Select a partition. For detailed information about the three partitions, see the Network Domains. Note: • ECS products support three network partitions, namely SF, DMZ and PTR. • BMS products in East China 1 support only the SF network domain. • BMS products in South China 1, North China 1, and Hong Kong support only the SF and DMZ network domains. |
VPC Subnets List |
• Enter a custom subnet description name. • Select an availability zone. • Select the length of the network mask. |
10. Click Create to display the following Create Result page and the status of the network is Available. The creation of a VPC, a network domain and a subnet are completed.
