Application Process

Prerequisites

•     You have successfully registered a Ping An Cloud account.

•     You have passed the real name authentication of Ping An Cloud.

•     Two VPCs have been created in the same region, and the network domain and subnet have been created under the two VPCs. For more information about creating VPC, network domain and subnet, see the Operation Guide of VPC.

Procedures

1. Log in to Ping An Cloud Official Website.

2. Point to Products in the top menu pane.

3. Select Cloud Essential Products > Network & CDN > Express Connect.

4. On the Express Connect page, click Free to Use.

5. Enter your account and password, and then complete verification procedures.

6. Click Confirm.

7. On the Add page that opens, create a VPC connection based on the following information.

Basic Configuration

Local Region

Select the dedicated network to connect the region of the local VPC.

Local VPC

Select the dedicated network to connect the local VPC.

Remote Tenant

If both ends of VPCs that needs to be connected belong to the same tenant, click This Tenant; if they belong to different tenants, select Other Tenant.

Remote Region

Automatically adjust to the same region as the local VPC.

Remote Tenant

If the Remote Tenant is Other Tenant, enter the remote tenant name of the dedicated network connection.

Remote VPC

• If the Remote Tenant is This Tenant, select dedicated network to connect the remote VPC.

• If the Remote Tenant is Other Tenant, enter the VPC name of the dedicated network connection.

Phone

Authorization Code

If the Remote Tenant is Other Tenant, enter the mobile phone number of the remote tenant and click ACQUIRE AUTHOTIZATION CODE. The system will send the authorization code to the mobile phone authorized by the remote tenant. Get the authorization code from the remote tenant and enter the authorization code in the field. Then click VERIFY.

Bandwidth Limit

No limit by default.

Description

Customize the description of the VPC connection.

Interconnecting IP Address

Local IP Address

Select the subnet IP address that the local VPC needs to interconnect. The selected subnet can communicate with the remote IP address.

: You can choose one or more subnet IP addresses. 

Remote IP Address

• If the Remote Tenant is This Tenant, select the subnet IP address that the remote VPC needs to interconnect. The selected subnet can communicate with the local IP address.

• If the Remote Tenant is Other Tenant, select the subnet IP address that the remote VPC needs to interconnect. The subnet can communicate with the local IP address.

: you can select/enter one or more subnet IP addresses.

8. Click CONFIRM. You will see an Operation succeeded message at the bottom of the page.

Result

On the VPC Peer Link page, select the target region to view the VPC connection you just created. Wait for a moment, click Refresh in the upper-right corner of the page to view the status of the VPC connection. Connected indicates the creation is successful.
